Let me get something straight right from the start. The correct Internet spelling of moron is morAn. If you’ve spent any time at all in political blogs or forums, you’d know this. So if you want to look like a complete MORAN, please lecture us about spelling and grammar. There’s a word for “those people” too–spelling Nazis. It can get a little rough in here, so if that’s a problem for you, you may want to buzz off now.
This site was inspired by Craigslist, Rants & Raves, which was once a fun site. It was a great place to anonymously blow off some steam to an anonymous audience. Sure, there were spammers and trolls, and that kinda sucked a little. But nothing sucks like proxy flaggers. People who use multiple IP addresses to single-handedly take down posts or even entire boards.
Whether it’s some sadistic pleasure of antagonizing people, jealousy, revenge, anonymously socking someone in the face for posting something stupid, or thinking they’re being a good buddy to Craig, flaggers are ruining Craigslist. A friend and I were talking on the phone and we thought that it would be a good idea to put something out there that will fill that gap left by an abusively flagged Craigslist website. And this site was built. So, we’re thrilled that you found this place and hope you decide to post. The more that participate, the more fun this could be.
